Miranda Grubb and Martin Newell, former bosses at home decor
direct marketer Oka, have launched a website offering designer
furniture and homewares at discount prices. Whatafind.com was
developed to sell clearance items, seasonal overstocks and
returns from brands including Feather & Black, The Cotswold
Company and Sweet Home London at discounted prices. Whatafind
earns a commission on all sales.
Adam Black, director of Feather & Black, said in a statement that
he was excited about the new partnership: “The relationship
will help us to develop an efficient route for clearance,
offering us a competitive advantage and the chance to sell any
overstock with integrity.”
Grubb said she was already looking forward to adding more to the
range: “We are working on developing the categories to
include ceramics, glassware, accessories-it is our intention to
cover most categories over time.” Integrated marketing
agency Tequila designed and built the website, as well as handling
marketing communications.
