Former England cricketer Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff
has signed up to be the face of big and tall catalogue
Jacamo. Flintoff will also design his own range
for Jacamo, due to launch in January 2012. Jacamo is one of N
Brown’s top performing brand, recording a sales rise of 66
percent in the 52 weeks to 26th February.
Online retailer Amazon will create up to 900
jobs in Staffordshire when it opens a new processing centre in
Rugeley. According to the Staffordshire Newsletter, Amazon is believed
to have signed a 15-year lease at a rent of around
£2,800,000, or £4 per sq ft.
In other news, Amazon has launched Amazon Europe Marketplaces
enabling sellers to list their products across all of Amazon’s
European websites with just one seller account.
