Multichannel retailer Direct Golf UK has seen revenues rocket 23
per cent in the first half of the year to March thanks to four new
stores and an online TV platform, which helped online sales
increase by 15 per cent year on year.
Launched online in 2011, Direct Golf TV is designed to bring
golfers informative, impartial video reviews for all the latest
golfing equipment, as well as videos on golf tips and drills plus
special offers exclusive to Direct Golf UK. To date, Direct Golf
UK has produced more than 300 online videos.
Using an experienced production team that includes Sky Sports
presenter Sarah Stirk, trick-shot artist and presenter Jeremy
Dale, former Today’s Golfer Equipment editor Carly
Cummins, as well as a host of PGA professionals including Tom
Denby, Darren Scholes and Jamie Donaldson, the channel boasts a
range of golf tips and drills from leading golf coaches as well
as a comprehensive guide to shopping to make buying golf
equipment quick and simple. Explains managing director Neil Bell,
