Kooomo announces new platform updates

Kooomo has announced further updates to its eCommerce platform. These improvements will, it says, help simplify tasks for merchants, as well as bolstering security to block attacking bots and feeds solicited by known cybercrime IP addresses.

Highlights include time-saving barcode searching for merchants, payment fees configuration for multiple payment methods, and, when required, the capability to duplicate existing customer orders in the admin panel. SIA Payments has also now been activated.

Bruteforce Recaptcha is among the updates being automatically rolled out across all its clients.  Complementing Kooomo’s updated firewall defences, this protection will provide ‘robust’ security against attacking bots that scan websites for vulnerabilities. However, search engines, such as Google, for example, won’t be affected.

Ciaran Bollard, CEO of Kooomo, said: “We’re on a mission to simplify eCommerce for merchants as much as possible so that they can focus on what’s important – providing exceptional customer service and selling their products. Our latest updates validate this mantra, making life easier for both merchant and the end customer, while further protecting them too.”
