Authentic Brands Group, (ABG), the new owner of Ted Baker, has moved to outsource various functions which is its standard modus operandi with new acquisitions which enables a stripping out of significant overheads. As a result, some 200 Ted Baker head office roles have been made redundant in sourcing, production, finance and footwear departments. This follows the exits of former CEO Rachel Osborne, CFO Marc Dench, business development director Helen Costello and chief people officer Peter Collyer.
