Aldi is looking to restructure part of its head office operations with around 350 jobs set to go in its non-food buying department, finance and other administration departments. It says that it is also looking to beef up its food buying teams.
The retailer was keen to point out that customer-facing positions are unaffected by the move and that it will seek to redeploy affected staff wherever feasible.
