Aldi is installing an automated traffic light inspired solution at all of its UK stores entrances so as to control shopper numbers able to enter. The solution tracks customers entering and leaving stores so that safe social distancing can be maintained in each store.
“The protection and safety of our customers and employees is our top priority and this new system is an accurate and effective way to allow us to control customer numbers in stores, ” said Richard Thornton, Aldi communications director.
