Aldi has announced plans to open a UK eCommerce store in 2016 with an initial focus on wines. The discount supermarket chain reported sales of £6.89bn for the year to 31 December 2014 and has 598 UK stores employing 28,000 people, with plans to increase its store count to 1000 by 2022.
