Alibaba has named Amee Chandee as its UK managing director ahead of its major push to attract more UK retailers to the opportunities in the Chinese market via Tmall. Chandee had, until March, held the role of managing director for Tesco’s Nutri Centre and her career spans spells with Staples, Walmart and McKinsey.
