HMV CEO Ian Topping will be leaving his role later this year to move on to new challenges and this makes way for its long term retail director Ian Taylor to take on the CEO role. In a further development, Rudy Osorio has been promoted to the role of commercial director and Patrizia Leighton rises to the position of marketing director. The business, owned by Hilco, is understood to be trading well.
