Alteri Investors has acquired the activities of Macintosh Fashion UK (Brantano and Jones Bootmaker) from Macintosh Retail Group. Macintosh Fashion UK has comprehensive coverage of the UK footwear market via its stores and multichannel offering. Brantano has 140 stores and 61 concessions; Jones Bootmaker has 110 stores and 13 concessions.
Alteri CEO Gavin George commented “We’re very excited by this latest investment which marks Alteri’s first equity deal in the UK. SInce launching at the end of 2014, we’re delighted with the progress we’ve made in building our investment and lending portfolio.”
In addition to this transaction Alteri has acquired Versandhaus Walz, a German multichannel retailer, has provided a secured loan to Austin Reed Group and provided a working capital facility to German fashion group Basler as part of its acquisition by Tempus Capital.
