Amazon has announced that the new distribution centre facility it is planning in East Yorkshire will create around 2000 jobs. Construction on the new development will commence in 2024 and is sited close to its existing delivery station in the area.
The new DC at Melton West Business Park will be equipped with modern robotics in a bid to improve delivery processes and increase both operational efficiency and safety.
