Amazon UK is creating 20,000 seasonal jobs across the UK to deal with demand in the run-up to Christmas. Amazon’s vice president for UK operations commented “The thousands of seasonal associates who join us at this time each year play an integral role in helping us deliver an exceptional experience for our customers during the Christmas season.”
Pundits are expecting an increase in demand here in the UK over the Black Friday / Manic Monday weekend as well as stronger demand through the Christmas holiday period itself.
