A new 630,000 sq.ft. fulfilment centre at Baldonnell Business Park, Dublin will open in Spring 2022 for Amazon at which it expects to employ around 500 people on permanent contracts. Amazon opened its first Irish delivery station in Ireland last October and also has a second planned for Ballycoolin.
Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Leo Varadkar said: “Since Amazon’s arrival here in 2004, it has become a significant source of employment – today’s announcement will bring its total workforce to over 5,000,” he said.
