Amazon will open a new fulfilment centre in Manchester thus Autumn creating 1000 new permanent jobs over the next three years. This will mirror its opening in Coalville, Leics.. which will also open in Autumn. The new roles are part of the business’ plan to create 2500 jobs in the UK this year bringing its total UK workforce to 14,500 by the end of 2016.
As well as creating more jobs in its ten fulfilment centres the business is also planning to hire recruits for head office and fashion photography studio roles and its data centres.
