Amazon US in own-label push


Reports from the US have it that Amazon is set to expand its Elements own-label products business and enter the fiercely competitive everyday food sector.  Amazon’s first foray into own-label commenced in December last year with the launch of diapers (nappies) and baby wipes exclusively for members of its Prime subscription “club”. Plans are now evolving to extend the Elements brand offering to include coffee, pasta, water, pet food, razors, vitamins and home cleaning products.
