AO increases sales & reduces losses

Online electricals business AO.com achieved total group revenues of £701.2 million for the year to March 31st, representing an increase of 17 per cent. UK sales had risen by 12.7 per cent to £629.7 million. However international development had proved costly and losses were incurred in Germany and the Netherlands despite sales in those countries increasing to £71.5 million in constant currencies. Overall this meant that the business posted a £2.1 million loss in adjusted EBITDA and an adjusted operating loss of £7.7 million.
