Online white goods and electricals etailer AO has located a new distribution centre close to Heathrow which it will open next year to be able to better serve customers in and around the London area.
The 33,500 sq.ft. facility is on Axis Park which has also attracted DHL, Royal Mail and Smiths News. AO’s group logistics director commented, “We were looking for a facility from which we could distribute our range of domestic electrical appliances to our customers. The unit needed to have good access to motorways and transport links into the city and West London to enable us to fulfil our customers’ orders quickly and efficiently.”
