AO World has posted sales of £476.7 million for the year to 31st March, an increase of 23.8 per cent over the previous year. It reported a pre-tax loss which, at £2.9 million, is an improvement over the £7.6 million loss incurred in 2013-14.
UK online sales accounted for £381.5 million, up 32.9 per cent with an increased percentage of returning customers, contributing to total UK revenues of £470.8 million. The business also launched in Germany during the period which it says has delivered an encouraging performance.
