Aptos Inc., a portfolio company of Apex Partners has acquired BT Expedite and has recruited Steve Towe as its managing director for Europe. Included in the transaction is the Mercatus merchandising platform, FrescaCommerce and a Clienteling application. BT Expedite has around 100 active customers including Mothercare, Primark, SuperGroup and WH Smith.
BT Expedite had been partially focused on the sales and support of Aptos POS, CRM and operations management solutions in the UK. Its team will now be able to bring the latest merchandising, analytics and enterprise order management solutions to the UK and European market. Some 500 retail brands in the USA use Aptos’ Singular Commerce platform.
