The Arcadia Group which operates BHS, Burton, Dorothy
Perkins, Evans, Miss Selfridge, Outfit, Topshop, Topman and Wallis, is poised
to implement the Oracle Retail Platform to bring greater operational
efficiencies and reduce its overall IT costs. The implementation forms part of
a larger business strategy to support its UK and international growth plans. Multiple
components from the Manhattan Supply Chain Commerce solutions will also come on
stream to enable new supply chain processes and maximise service levels across
the group’s growing omni-channel retail operations. Arcadia has 1500 UK stores
and 700+ franchise and concession stores in 42 international markets, as well
as an online retail business serving customers in 123 countries via 40 websites
supporting multiple languages and currencies. It is also planning a further 161
store openings this year with Europe firmly on the top of the agenda.
