Argos is to offer a same-day delivery “fast track” service for £3.95 for a range of 20,000 products with a choice of delivery time slots. To achieve this the retailer has recruited 3,300 drivers and has leased 800 vans in readiness for peak demand. Customers who wish to collect their orders on the day placed will also be accommodated and can opt to pick up from any one of the 840 Argos stores.
