Argos customers disappointed by site glitch

Discounted offers on toys and electrical
lines led to huge customer disappointments as orders placed were “lost” in its
systems despite payment having been taken from customers’ accounts. Many had
opted for same-day click & collect pick up only to find that on turning up
at stores to collect their orders, staff were unable to verify that orders had
been placed or paid for.
