Argos taps Google Assistant

Argos is using the Google Assistant platform to enable customers to check product availability at the stores they choose and reserve items for collection. In addition to reserving items at a particular store via a voice command, customers can also use it to find details of their local store. Argos is the first UK retailer to leverage Google Home for a shopping service.

Argos CEO John Rogers commented: “Argos is a digitally-led business at the forefront of technology and it’s really exciting that we are harnessing the simplicity of voice ordering with the convenience and popularity of click and collect to make our customers’ lives easier.”
