Argos to replace in store catalogues with ipads

Home
Retail Group has been testing a new Argos format in Camden in which the
laminated copies of its catalogues from which customers order in store have
been replaced with iPads. Whilst the company will retain paper catalogues for
its customers to use at home, it hopes to increase store efficiency via the
iPads and will be extending its test to 6 more stores. The store has launched a
£100 tablet just in time for Christmas which is aimed at the teen market. The
MyTablet will come in silver and pink, run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and come
pre-loaded with apps like Angry Birds
