Asda has made two senior appointments to its technology team as the business separates functions from Walmart.
Rob Barnes
Rob Barnes will take up the role of tech delivery director early in 2024. The former M&S CTO was formerly retail tech advisory managing director for Accenture where he held responsibility for tech delivery projects for clients including Clarks, Sainsbury’s and Tesco.
Barnes will be joined by Adrian Berry who joins as CTO who has held the role of CIO at Aston Barclay Vehicle Remarketing and prior to that was UK CIO and CTO for Lowell Credit Management.
