Having increased his stake in Game Digital to 38.5 per cent, Mike Ashley has tabled an offer of 30p per share to acquire the retailer. Game generated revenues of £782.3 million last year but posted a £7.4 million loss. It sells a range of video games from a chain of 580 stores in the UK and Spain, as well as online.
