DHL will manage transport and warehousing for bathstore in an extended contract that will see it service deliveries to 169 stores as well as provide two man home deliveries for bathstore customers. The national dedicated operation will run from a base in Daventry, supported by a further nine out-bases. Two man delivery services will also be provided to consumers as part of the contract which with servicing stores will total some 200,000 deliveries a year. DHL will consolidate multiple customer deliveries wherever possible to maximise efficient use of resources.
