Bonmarche chief executive Beth Butterwick has confirmed that she will move to Karen Millen in the New Year as its new CEO. The announcement came as Bonmarche issued a profits warning due to challenging trading conditions in recent weeks.
Butterwick had led Bonmarche which trades from 292 stores, including concessions, as well as its eCommerce and catalogue operation, for four years. During this period the retailer was acquired by an investment firm, launched an IPO, and moved to the London Stock Exchange Main Market. The search for a successor has commenced with Butterwick staying on until an appointment is confirmed.
