B&M’s chairman Peter Bamford is leading the process to identify candidates for the role of CEO at B&M Retail. This comes about following the announcement by Simon Arora who is resigning after 17 years but will remain in the CEO post until his successor is in place.
B&M developed from the chain of 21 stores acquired by Simon and Bobby Arora in 2004. It now operates over 1000 stores in the UK and France.
Simon Arora said: “B&M’s value proposition remains as relevant and compelling to shoppers today as it has ever been. I would like to thank all 30,000 members of the B&M family for their hard work and commitment both now and as we continue our expansion.”
