Boohoo revenues skyrocket

Boohoo has posted impressive overall sales across its brands for the four months to 31 December. This included an increase of 42 per cent year-on-year from the UK alone and a record Black Friday. With the total revenue for the four month period coming in at £473.7 million, the online retail group expects to surpass forecasts for its full year revenues, to February 2020, which it now expects to come in at between 40 and 42 per cent. Total revenues for the ten months to date stand at £1.03 billion. The group which operates PrettyLittleThing, Nasty Gal, as well as Boohoo, also says that good progress had been made with its Coast, Karen Millen and MissPap acquisitions. Boosting its home market performance, the group achieved an impressive 57 per cent rise in sales from the US market with Europe, aside from the UK, also up by 57 per cent.
