Sales at Boohoo were reported to be up by 129 per cent to £14.4 million for the six month period to 31st August. Of the £127 million generated, UK sales had risen by 38 per cent and account for 64 per cent of the total, with international also having grown by 41 per cent across Europe and 93 per cent in the USA. The bullish online fashion business is now boasting 4.5 million active customers and, importantly pre-tax profits are also on an upward trajectory estimated at £14.4 million for the period.
The business continues to seek growth with both childrenswear and maternity wear ranges launching this Autumn and it is also mooting the possibility of acquiring Pretty Little Thing early in 2017.
