Boots launches App


Boots UK has announced the launch of Boots App, designed to work in conjunction with its Advantage Card. The new app provides instant access to the latest offers tailored to personal shopping habits. Ruth Spencer, Director of Loyalty and Multi-Channel for Boots told Direct Commerce “We know that our customers love to receive personalised offers on the products they use the most, and 87 per cent use the coupons they receive in their quarterly mailings.  However, over a third tell us they regularly forget to put paper coupons in their purse and can miss out on the best offers for them. The Boots App makes that a thing of the past, ensuring our customers always have access to the offers they want most, when they want them – not just quarterly.”

Customers can also use the Boots App to find out more about products before they shop with the Barcode Scanner feature which allows them to scan any product barcode to get more information, customer ratings and reviews. With 70 per cent of customers researching online before purchasing in store, customers cam also keep up to date on what is happening at their local store or on brands of interest with the News and Events features.
