US business-to-business giant Brady Corporation, best known in
the UK for operating the Seton workplace and facilities equipment
catalogue, has acquired Securimed, a French direct marketer of
first-aid supplies.
The deal, for an undisclosed sum, strengthens Brady’s presence in
France, where it also operates safety signage marketer Signals
and four other companies selling labelling products, signage, and
name badges. Securimed had sales of approximately $12 million
(£7.9 milion) in fiscal 2009. Milwaukee-based Brady Corp
closed last year with sales of some $1.2 billion (£789.7
million).
