Brightpearl which supplies a multi-channel retail management platform principally to SME retailers has launched the Brightpearl App Store to enable its clients to extend functionality with the exact capabilities they need. These include forecasting tools reporting tools, inventory and web stores. 17 Apps are immediately available, with a further 21 in development, and are offered to Brightpearl users through their accounts. Henry Morland, head of product at Brightpearl commented “We’re delighted to introduce the Brightpearl App Store. Our job is to give retailers the tools they need to successfully manage and grow their businesses. The App Store allows developers to create apps which extend Brightpearl’s core capabilities and to promote them to the entire Brightpearl community. As a retailer that means you can pick and choose the apps you need to make Brightpearl map perfectly onto the way you want to do business.”
