British Corner Shop IP sold

British Corner Shop which entered administration in January, which led to it ceasing to trade and 20 employees losing their jobs, has a new owner.

The brand’s IP has been acquired from FRP’s joint administrators Jonathan Dunn and Matthew Whitchurch by Magna Homes which plans to establish a new distribution centre and create new jobs in the North East.

Harvey Hayer a director of Magna Homes commented: “We are actively looking for further opportunities within the (eCommerce) sector. Magna Homes is on track to develop a further 200 quality family homes over the next two years as the business continues to acquire development sites.”
