Brits outshop Yanks online

The Yanks may have initiated online shopping, but the Brits have
become the most enthusiastic about it. According to a survey by
comparison-shopping site Shopzilla.co.uk, nine out of 10 Britons
shop online at least once a month, compared with seven out of 10
Americans. What’s more, about a third of the 3,118 Britons
surveyed planned to do most of their Christmas shopping online
this year, with another third expecting to do about half of it
online.

More than 39 per cent of the British shoppers surveyed said they
usually or always use price-comparison sites. And 53 per cent said
that consumer product reviews influenced their purchase
decisions.
