Business improves at French Connection


With its wholesale venues edging up by 4.6 per cent, eCommerce representing 23 per cent of retail revenue and 24 per cent of customer orders serviced by Click & Collect, French Connection reduced its losses for the year to end January from £4.4 million to £0.8 million. During the year it had closed nine under-performing stores, opened two new concessions in El Cortes Ingles stores, opened a new store in Berlin as well as bought out its Amsterdam franchisee. The overall results showed a drop in group revenues of 5.8 per cent to £178.5 million.
