BuyItDirect Group has launched DronesDirect with the aim of becoming the UK’s largest drones retailer. The news comes following its acquisition of drone business ProFlight-UK Ltd. BuyItDirect Group also operates AppliancesDirect and LaptopsDirect and following the acquisition rebranded the company as DronesDirect, whilst retaining the ProFlight-UK Ltd product branding, product lines and expertise. It sells a range of 50 market-leading drones brands including DJI, Parrot, Yuneec, ProFlight and 3DR via the website which cater for a range of budget and pilot requirements. ProFlight founder, Tim Morley, will continue to be heavily involved in the business and is now responsible for the website’s continued success and future development.
