At this time of year our attention turns to our Annual Summit
which, as many members and guests know, regularly attracts our largest
attendance. Whilst we stage many other member meetings each year in London and
in other key locations like Manchester, Bath, Newton Abbot, Leeds, and
Worcester – this is our primary convention and an excellent opportunity for
hearing other members inspiring stories, sharing insight and expertise, and
keeping up to date with the myriad developments in this ultra-dynamic sector.
This year we welcome some great thought leaders to our main
stage including special guest Robin Phillips, eCommerce Director of Waitrose,
Nick Wheeler the ebullient founder of Charles Tyrwhitt who will be interviewed
by Andrew Wilson, Christopher Nieper whose long established business is
spearheading a return to the manufacture of quality garments in Britain in an insightful
Q&A session with Kate Hills of Make it British. Tim Curtis will lead a
panel on international which includes Simon Brown founder of the unique Joe
Brown’s brand and Gerald Dawson of Weird Fish. Former Crew Clothing
multichannel director Iain MacDonald will explore the changing face of our
market and the omnipresence our customers now expect from us. We’ll also have
coverage of some surprising trends that are seeing pure-play online businesses
increasingly adopt print catalogues to generate sales that other channels
simply aren’t producing. Royal Mail’s Head of Insight Anthony Jones will
present the results of extensive research into the catalogue medium and the
findings here reinforce and quantify many surmised trends. Then to add to feast
of insight, UK MD for vouchercodes.co.uk Claire Davenport has terrific information
on the penetration of mobile commerce. A great triple breakout focus session dedicated
to the print medium with Gould Publication Papers & Sappi includes input
from Mike Gough who is the associate creative of Boden. Plus there is a
Business Leaders Forum which is expressly for director level delegates from
active client side member businesses – as well as a whole host of focused round
table topics to choose from which provide excellent coverage on an array of key
topics – from mobile commerce to getting the best from your OMS provider – to
developing a voice for your brand – to increasing web conversion.
There are some special offers for members wishing to book
multiple places for their teams, subject to availability – so don’t delay
booking your seats. Non -members are also welcome but different rates apply. To
