CDS Superstores, which owns The Range, Wilko and Homebase, has reported record revenue of £1.714bn for the 52 weeks to 1 February 2026.
That is 16.4 per cent, or £242m, more than the previous year. In that year revenue rose 13.5 per cent to £1.47bn and the business returned to a pre-tax profit.
The group filed its accounts at Companies House on 29 October. Retail Week, which first reported the figures, said like-for-like sales grew 2.6 per cent, helped by outdoor categories.
Homebase stores converted
In November 2024 CDS bought the Homebase brand, website and the rights to 53 stores after Homebase went into administration. Former Homebase sites have since been converted into larger The Range superstores, with concepts including Garden Centre by Homebase and Kitchens by Homebase.
The group is owned by Chris Dawson. It bought the Wilko brand and intellectual property in 2023, has relaunched Wilko’s eCommerce operation and has opened stores under the Wilko name.
Investment in online and supply chain
Recent moves include:
- a £190m asset-based revolving credit facility from Wells Fargo Capital Finance, alongside HSBC and Citi, agreed in August and more than double the size of the previous facility
- an extended fulfilment partnership with THG Fulfil covering online orders for The Range, Wilko and Homebase
- Mirakl marketplace technology for Wilko.
The revenue figures cover a period that ended before the August financing.
