Celtic & Co-founders Nick and Kath Whitworth are celebrating the news that they have been selected to receive the Queen’s Award for International Trade.
The Cornish brand based in Newquay is a committed direct retailer with a 28 year history and which has customers in over 90 countries and with a particularly strong presence in the USA, Canada and Australia.
Nick Whitworth commented “Since 2014, our strategy has focused on profitable growth to protect the business in the long term by building up our equity. We are still aiming to grow between 5-10 per cent of our turnover year on year but focusing on a wide range of markets and opportunities to ensure that we are not over-reliant on one market or territory. A key part of this strategy is international growth.”
