Charles Tyrwhitt opens Bristol store

Charles Tyrwhitt has chosen Cribbs Mall as the site for its first store in Bristol. It has taken a 1600 sq.ft. unit close to John Lewis on the upper floor and will be stocking shirts, suits, casualwear, shoes and accessories.

Charles Tyrwhitt founder Nick Wheeler commented: “I started Charles Tyrwhitt in the autumn of 1986 from my room in Victoria Square in Clifton. I was studying geography at Bristol university but found my little shirt venture rather more exciting than oxbow lakes and capital cities around the world.

“When I left Bristol the following year, I had no idea that it would take me 37 years to ‘come home.’
