New research from Capgemini and IMRG has found that some 19
per cent of multichannel retailer sales between August and October 2013 were click
and collect, up from 13 per cent for the same quarter of 2012. With major retailers
like Boots, John Lewis, and Tesco now offering and promoting the option and the
emergence of local pick-up points in most areas of the UK, combined with
greater consumer awareness, Click and Collect looks set to grow further.
