Clipper will take occupation of a new 304,000 sq.ft. distribution centre at the Northampton Commercial Park development. The facility includes 16,000 sq.ft of offices and will be used by Clipper as a multi-client retail logistics and fulfilment facility from Autumn 2016. Tony Mannix, CEO Clipper Logistics commented “As a UK leader in value-added logistics solutions for the retail industry, we are always looking to support our retailer partners in what is a rapidly evolving marketplace.”
John Lewis will use the new facility as a pre-sortation hub from the Autumn to meet the demands of its growing Click & Collect delivery option.
