Cotton Traders announce year-long celebrity partnership with broadcaster Alex Jones

British heritage fashion brand, Cotton Traders, has announced it will be partnering with broadcaster Alex Jones as its latest female celebrity ambassador this year.

Launching 3rd September, the year-long campaign will see Alex showcasing her favourite pieces from Cotton Traders through the seasons, whilst revealing her own edit through a series of social media edits on Instagram. In addition, Alex’s edit will be shown to a selection of top tier press and influencers at the brand’s AW23 Press Preview this September. Cotton Traders will also host Alex Jones’ edit on its website, where fans can easily purchase their favourite pieces online.

The announcement comes shortly after Cotton Traders reported its most successful financial year to date as existing celebrity collaborations with A Place In The Sun presenter, Jasmine Harman and TV star, Will Mellor were both reported as contributors to increased new customer acquisition with prospective customers, in addition to prolonging customer retention.

Cotton Traders’ brand ambassadors aim to continue to bring in a younger, more digitally savvy customer base for the brand whilst strengthening its position on social media with credible, authoritative content and a cross-fertilisation of followers.

Cotton Traders’ CEO, Nick Hamblin commented: “We’re delighted to announce Alex Jones as the new face of Cotton Traders best-selling category, womenswear. Alex resonates so well with our audience and we’re confident the partnership will propel our growth trajectory further through authoritative and authentic content in the digital space. It’s a pleasure to welcome Alex Jones to our Cotton Traders family, alongside Jasmine Harman and Will Mellor, and we can’t wait to see the results she brings to us as a brand going forwards.”
