Countrywide Farmers to close stores and HQ

Countrywide Farmers head office, distribution centre and remaining eleven unsold stores will close on May 20th, resulting in a further 208 redundancies.  Eight stores have been sold to Wynnstay, a Welsh agricultural supplies business which is seeking to expand into the south west of England. Four stores have been acquired by Mole Valley Farmers.  Countrywide Farmers entered administration in March.
