Germany-based catalogue giant Otto Group is using Unica’s marketing software to deliver more relevant marketing messages to its customers via offline and online channels.

Dutch eCommerce technology company Fredhopper was tapped by British department-store chain Debenhams to enhance its online
user experience.

International sales at Amazon, representing the company’s UK, German, Japanese, French, and Chinese websites, were up 45 per cent to $3.35 billion (£2.18 billion) in the first quarter 2010 compared with the same period last year. Excluding the favourable impact from year-over-year changes in foreign exchange rates during the quarter, sales grew 37 per cent.

British value fashion retailer Peacocks has launched a new website designed by King of Prussia, PA-based GSI Commerce. The new site features an expanded product range, including childrenswear and baby clothes, as well as new features including a “build-the-look” function.

International sales at London-based apparel etailer ASOS are continuing their upward trajectory. In the 12 months to 31st March 2010, international sales doubled and now account for 28 per cent of total retail sales. For the 19 days to 19th April, overall sales at the company surged 56 per cent with international sales particularly strong in the period, up 148 per cent.
