Secret-sales website Vente-Privee.com won in
four of the seven categories at the GP Bullhound Media Momentum
awards. The France-based firm picked up trophies in the Best
Execution, Best Management, and Vision and Future Growth
Potential categories as well as the Judges Award for overall
winner. To qualify for the awards, entrants had to have a
turnover of at least €1.5 million ($1.87 million) in 2009
and be headquartered in Europe.

Copenhagen, Denmark-based sportswear chain
Stadium has selected the marketing automation
platform from Twickenham, UK-based Neolane. The
software, replacing a legacy email marketing tool, provides
Stadium with personalised customer communications tailored to
buying histories, declared and inferred interests.

Nursery and maternity retailer/cataloguer
Mothercare announced a record year for its
international performance. Total international sales are up 21.4
per cent to £490.9 million ($710.6 million) for the 52 weeks
ended 27th March.

First-quarter sales at Staples’
international division, which includes the UK and Europe, were
$1.3 billion, an increase of 6 per cent in US dollars, but a
decrease of four per cent in local currency compared to the first
quarter of 2009. Top line growth in Staples’ European catalogue
business was offset by lower sales in the European printing
systems business.

According to published reports, London-based fashion etailer
ASOS will unveil its US website in September.
