Shop Direct has recruited Sarah Curran, founder of my My-Wardrobe, to help develop a new upmarket range under the Very Exclusive brand. The site will launch in February with an offering of designer label fashion backed by the opportunity to pay via instalments. Sarah Curran commented “We are tapping into a customer base that is buying into brands occasionally or couldn’t but into them yet. We will focus on the “must-have” hero pieces that she is going to walk over hot coals to have.”
This move by Shop Direct is mirrored by Next’s launch of The Label – an upmarket brand extension which was successfully trialled earlier this year and is now being developed.
